I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Approved Clinical Supervisor in the state of NJ. I know reaching out for help is the hardest step, but I’m so glad you did! You don’t have to suffer in silence. My experience as a therapist spans over two decades, which includes working with the severely mentally ill adult population in a partial care program, working with children in an outpatient and in-home setting, and working with adults struggling with various symptoms and issues in an outpatient setting. I am specialized in treating trauma and PTSD and grief/loss. In addition, I also have extensive training and experience helping those struggling with anxiety, depression, and general life stressors.

I am a graduate from Fairleigh Dickinson University, receiving my bachelor’s in psychology and a Master’s in Clinical Counseling in 2003. I received my license as a Professional Counselor in 2007 followed by my certification as an Approved Clinical Supervisor in 2015. I have extensive experience supervising undergraduate and graduate students in psychology. This includes guiding provisionally licensed associate counselors as they work toward completing their hours for professional counselor licensure. Additionally, I have developed and facilitated various psychotherapy support groups, including bereavement groups, stress management groups, anxiety management groups, and social skills groups for adults on the autism spectrum. I also completed basic training in EMDR (Eye, Movement Desensitization, Reprocessing), which helps lessen distressing emotions and thoughts stemming from traumas. I’m also currently working towards my certification in EMDR through EMDRIA, a professional association for EMDR practitioners that provides the highest standard for clinical use of EMDR.
